How do these mailing-list subscriptions work?
We use Google Groups as a way to provide you with a newsletter/announcement service.
- After you enter your email address in the box (either one) above, you will receive an email from noreply@googlegroups.com (generally within a half hour) asking you to confirm that you actually want to receive the newsletter.
- This is an extra step intended to reduce spam and unwanted email pranks.
- Once you click the confirmation link in the email, or reply to the message, you will be subscribed to the list.
- If you do not confirm, your subscription will not be activated.
How to unsubscribe from these mailing lists?
At the bottom of each message from this mailing list is the unsubscription email address. Simply send a blank email to that address. You will be asked to confirm your wish to unsubscribe, just as with the subscription process. Upon completion, you will have been unsubscribed.
